These pipes are made up of 18–20% chromium, 8–12% nickel, and a maximum of 0.03% carbon, which significantly boosts their corrosion resistance and weldability. They boast a tensile strength of around 485 MPa and a yield strength of about 170 MPa, along with impressive ductility and formability. The low carbon content helps reduce carbide precipitation during welding, offering excellent protection against intergranular corrosion and ensuring they perform well in corrosive and high-temperature settings.
